Position of agriculture sector - Being a province located in the Mekong River Delta with substantial source of fresh water which is favorable for agricultural development, rice output of An Giang is over 4 million tons, ranking first in the country. The total agricultural production area of the Province is over 250 thousand ha, accounting for 70% of the province’s natural area. - The agriculture sector makes up 31% in the Province’s economic structure. Of which, the husbandry sub-sector accounts for 81.3%, the cultivation represents 6.4% and the agricultural service sector occupies 12.3%.

INTRODUCTION ON HI-TECH AGRICULTURE AREA PROJECT

Based on official dispatch 2016/UBND-KTTH dated November 17, 2017 of An Giang People's Committee on the implementation of investment procedures in An Giang province.
